As with any business, the most critical factor to have in order to be
successful is to have people who are in need of your product or service
that you are offering. Business’s take on many forms, however, the principles
are all exactly the same, whether it be offline or online.

Traditionally, those who are working to build a successful business online,
particularly in MLM companies are taught to utilise the “Warm List”. It’s no
big secret that these methods are more dated than steam power for travel, however,
it still surprises me that these methods are still being used only in a different form.
Think of it like this, if you were running a shop for example, would you run up and down the
street trying to pull people in to buy whatever you were selling? These methods simply harm
your business, people do not like to be sold, they like to buy, I am sure even you reading this
now have been to look in a shop and have sales people jump on you as you walk through the door
trying to get that sale, I don’t know about you, but that really gets my back up as I like to
buy products or services not to have them rammed down my throat.

So what is this Electronic Warm List? The Internet…. or to be more specific, the social media
circle. I sit here and look in total amazement and also with a little sympathy to all those who
continue to waste precious time and effort spamming the crap out of people’s walls and groups
talking about their business or service, this is total business suicide and you will lose credibility
in an instant. I know for a fact that there are many of you now who are reading this have read the
writings of Mike Dillard, but still have no clue exactly what attraction marketing is really about,
now that is not a bad thing, because you probably are doing what everyone else is doing out there assuming this is how marketing is done.

The principle of business or more to the point marketing your business, is to position yourself in the market place, by positioning yourself correctly, you will naturally attract those who require what you have to offer, now let me  make this point clear and concise, you are not offering a business nor are you offering the best compensation plan, in fact, the thing you should be offering is something that 98% do not market and promote… any ideas? For those who are one step ahead of me already then a big thumbs up to you, those who are not and are thinking “just tell me what it is” then here is the answer… it is YOU!!

My primary profession off line was Hypnotherapy and Psychology, and when I went out to market that business never once did I walk the street or hound my so called “warm list”, if I did then I am sure I wouldn’t have my friends and family around me now. I positioned myself in front of those who were looking for what it was I had to offer, now this is where the real attraction marketing came into play, yes there were many other therapists out there, however, I had the upper hand purely because I never promoted my business (private practice) I promoted myself, hypnotherapy was what I used
to make money with, a tool if you like, the real attraction was who I was and what I could do for whoever wanted help.

In the home business industry, the same rule applies, why? Simply because the rules of human psychology apply to every business situation whether it be online or off. People do want to make money online, that is what they are trying to achieve, but there is one big problem here, they don’t know how to do this, I am hoping by now the light bulb has come on,  but if it hasn’t here is the simple logic…. They want to make money but don’t know how, so what do they do? go and buy
a business, of course not, they go and find someone who can show them how to make money. Now this is where it really gets interesting, if you have educated yourself enough to understand the basic principles of how attraction and transference works, then by giving them what they want (the knowledge) then they will feel compelled to stay with you and use what tool you use to make money because of the strong bond you have made between the both of you.

Marketing online or offline is not rocket science, it is an exact science and doing what the masses are doing you are going to get lost in the crowd… period! There may be a slight chance that you will get heard, so what it is you do then? You do what everyone isn’t doing, unnderstand that principle get the correct knowledge behind you and implement that knowledge and success will be yours forever and that is a fact.

Being an Internet Marketing Beginner is something that most of us
have at one time on our journey to financial freedom have been. It is all
to common that many people will fail and fail big time when they first attempt
to make money online. The reason for this is simple, they just don’t know how
to market correctly, and those that do, often take advantage of that fact and
make money form those unfortunate people that just don’t know any different. With
that in mind, the following article will begin to give you a base from which to work

The fact of the matter is this, Internet marketing is an exact science and if you learn
just how to market the right way you will never need to work ever again, however, this seems

A blog is a highly important tool in your marketing kit for success, this is where you can interact with your followers to build relationships up with them and give them all the information they need. If you do this correctly your blog post will get indexed by the major search engines for your chosen search terms, again this is an exact science and should be learned from someone who knows how to drive traffic to the blog.

Using just these three techniques the right way and you will see massive results in a sort space of time providing you put the time and effort into creating both good content and more importantly, help those who come to your blog and marketing get the information and training they need to be successful. It never stops amazing me that even now people are still using the old school methods and hoping for the best. You may end up earning something from these techniques but you will have to put a lot of effort into them just to scrape by. The only way to have real success is to get educated and implement the exact strategies to drive traffic to your site, if you get that part right, then
you will most definitely begin to be successful.

There is no doubt in my mind that many people still are not using the best free marketing methods out there, just because they are free most certainly doesn’t mean they are no good. Squidoo is no exception to the rule, this is a sure fire way of driving quality traffic to your site, but, more importantly you can also incorperate youtube video’s on there and create a page that sells your products too, all this in one place that is totally free to join.

What makes squidoo so powerful is it technically belongs to the social media ring, and we all know google loves the social media sites, squidoo has an Alexa traffic rank of 332, which basically means it is number 332 of the highest websites visited on a monthly basis. Do you think it would pay you to spend a little amount of you time adding content to that site daily? You bet it would. I personally use this site for many different things, some selling products and some promoting my blog and my primary business too, and all my lens’s bring me free targeted traffic.

From the very moment you decide to make money online, you really need to make sure you have one highly important strategy in place… who is going to be your Internet Marketing Mentor?

Now I am pretty sure you know there are a ton of programmes to join, or books to buy etc, but let’s face it, do they really give you the complete picture? I have purchased endless books over the last few years, with people professing to be the top Marketing Mentoring guru’s or something similar. Now don’t get me wrong here guys and gals, you can never stop learning, however, most of these programmes always seem to give out the same old information but in a different format.

What these programmes never give you is that personal contact, which, in my honest opinion is crucial to your success. Internet Marketing Mentoring isn’t just about giving out a few instructions and hoping your team member will be able to follow that advice an implement it correctly so they get the results they want to achieve.

So What is Good Internet Marketing Mentoring?

Accessibility

First off, before joining, you should first see if the Mentor is accessible, what this means
is can you get hold of that person when you need to. While you are learning new skills it’s highly
important that you are able to speak to someone, when you need to the most.

Communication

Another important factor to all this when your researching your chosen opportunity, is, can the person you are looking to join under communicate effectively, don’t forget the term mentor according to the dictionary means teacher, this person has to be able to communicate on different levels in order to teach different people at different levels of understanding.

There should also be a blue print to follow, one that is prov en over time. People who are successful only became successful through either trial and error or by following a prov en track to build upon. These key principles apply to everything in the world, any thing that requires a method to achieve the correct results has to have a structured blue print to follow.

To conclude, providing a solid foundation for everyone to learn from makes someone a good Internet Mentor. Being a teacher is about providing good sound information to pupils so that they are able to learn from the knowledge and more importantly apply that knowledge so that they also become successful. These core attributes are what Internet Marketing Mentoring is all about.
